Conclusion

Apple iPhone 3G S

This will please every Apple fan...the iPhone 3G S is quite a good, little camcorder. Not only did it have an excellent colour accuracy that is comparable (if not better) than the results of the competition – it also performed surprisingly well in low light. Expect it to be a big favorite at parties and concerts.

Unfortunately the iPhone 3G S just records in standard definition. This gives the Flip the edge over the iPhone, especially since HD is common on most video hosting sites now. We reckon that Apple will release some kind of upgrade for HD recording (it looks like the iPhone is capable of 720p). It is more likely though, that we will have to wait for the next generation.

Regarding the prices for the iPhone 3G S, well, everybody knows it is not a bargain. O2, the exclusive carrier in the UK, offers the iPhone 3G S with different monthly tariffs. You can get both versions of the new iPhone for free, if you choose the most expensive tariff of £73.41 for 24 months. That makes a total of £1,761.84. The same tariff for 18 months just gives you the 16GB iPhone 3G S for free—for the 32GB version you pay additional £96.89. This choice is a little cheaper, with a total of £1,321.38 for the 16GB and £1,418.27 for the 32GB iPhone. Another option O2 offers is Pay & Go. This plan offers the 32GB iPhone 3G S for £538,30, including 12 Months of unlimited WiFi. After the 12 Months the web usage costs £10. Of course you will have to pay the talking minutes. There are a lot of choices and you'll have to decide for yourself which is the right one.
