The lens of the GZ-HD320 is a Konica Minolta branded lens which has an optical zoom range of 20x. A small filter ring on the front with a diameter of 30.5 mm allows you to attach filters or a telephoto extender. Behind the lens is a 1/4.1-inch CMOS image sensor with a 3.05 megapixel count.
