In recent years, the company has released a handful of higher-end camcorders that offered solid performance and a substantial degree of user control. Focusing on upright designs, rather than a traditional, horizontal camcorder body, Sanyo camcorders tend to emphasize their abilities as still camera/camcoder hybrid devices.
