Canon Vixia HF M50 Product Specs
With improved low light sensitivity and wider dynamic range, Canon's Vixia HF M50 is slimmer and lighter than previous generations. The M50 replaces viewfinders, component outputs, and dual card slots for WiFi functionality allowing users to upload videos to the web, transfer video to a computer on the same network, output clips to certain DLNA-compliant devices, or export video to an iPhone or iPad using an iOS app. Launching March 2012, users can also upload to a service called Canon Image Gateway, which will provide 2GB of free online storage in addition to the camera's 8GB memory for users, with the option to push those videos directly to YouTube or Facebook. With improved sensor performance audio recording, the M50 features a flat touchscreen panel design, the Smart Auto feature with 38 scene types and nine digital filters. ($649 MSRP- February 2012)
