Kodak PlayFull Dual Zi12 Product Specs
Despite its moniker, the new PlayFull Dual Zi12 is Kodak's heir apparent to the "Zi8 camcorder":http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/Kodak-Zi8-Camcorder-Review-37640.htm from 2010—not the two PlayFull camcorders Kodak released in 2011. The reason for this is because the PlayFull Dual is a higher-end ultracompact model that includes a 3.5mm external mic jack, a 12-megapixel still image capability, and a suite of scene modes and effeccts that let you alter the look of your video recordings. The Dual is still a simple, compact camcorder, but it's being marketed to the more sophisticated user, while the PlayFull Ze1 and Ze2 are clearly meant for children and novice videographers.
The PlayFull Dual Zi12 is set to retail for around $199 and will be available in white or black.
